At AirMatrix, we prioritize safety and compliance across all our operations. As a proud UAS Service Supplier, we demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the highest standards in the drone industry.
AirMatrix is an FAA-approved UAS Service Supplier of LAANC. Through LAANC, drone pilots can request airspace authorizations and receive them in near–real-time. LAANC is available to Recreational flyers and Commercial (Part-107) drone pilots in the United States via AirMatrix’s Palladium UTM platform.
Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) is a system the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) created to streamline airspace authorizations for drone flights under 400 feet in controlled airspaces. It simplifies the application process, allowing for quick approvals and safer drone operations, which is especially beneficial for commercial pilots and businesses.
LAANC automates the application and approval process for airspace authorizations and is available to pilots operating under the Small UAS Rule Part 107 or under the exception for Recreational Flyers. To qualify under Part 107, you must register your drone and hold a Remote Pilot Certificate. Recreational flyers must take The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) before they fly. Through LAANC, drone pilots can request airspace authorization up to 90 days before their planned operation. AirMatrix provides near real-time and Further Coordination authorizations.
